THE OLD FAS BUILDING, CORK | SOLSTICE | JUNE 2011
THE PAVILION | SEPTEMBER 2011
Osteoporosis is an original musical written, composed and performed by Makeshift Ensemble it was originally developed for Solstice as part of the Cork Midsummer Festival in 2011.
Osteoporosis is about the teenage fear of not being cool and the universal fear of aging. In an age obsessed with everlasting youth we talk about ageism, stereotypes, self-acceptance, and that old people smell. This is a musical of sorts with songs that are sexy, poignant and hilarious.
